Cape Breton South Honourable Manning MacDonald Liberal
The Honourable Manning MacDonald was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Cape Breton South in 1993, and was re-elected in 1998, 1999, 2003, 2006 and again in 2009. He was Mayor of Sydney for 15 years.
He has served as Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, Minister of Labour and Minister responsible for the Petroleum Directorate.
He is a member of the Assembly Matters, Internal Affairs and Law Amendments Committees.
