Halifax Chebucto Howard Epstein NDP
Howard Epstein was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Halifax Chebucto in 1998 was re-elected in 1999, 2003, 2006 and again in 2009.
Howard is a lawyer and part-time law professor. Prior to his election to the Legislature, Howard was a Halifax City Councillor. He was first elected to Council in 1994 and re-elected to the amalgamated Halifax Regional Municipality Council in 1995.
He is the Ministerial Assistant to the Department of Community Services and he is Vice Chair of the Public Accounts Committee. He is a member of the Law Amendments, Resources and Veterans Affairs Committees.
