Pictou East Clarrie MacKinnon NDP
Clarrie MacKinnon was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Pictou East in 2006 and was re-elected in 2009.
Before being elected to the Nova Scotia Legislature, Clarrie worked in many fields: news media, public relations and in senior positions of both the public and private sectors of the fishing industry.
He is the Deputy Government House Leader and he is Vice Chair of the Law Amendments Committee and a member of the Assembly Matters, Private and Local Bills, Public Accounts, and Economic Development Committees.
