Brian Skabar was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Cumberland North in 2009.
He’s recently retired from the Federal Public Service, having worked in various front line and management positions within the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and Health Canada.
He is Ministerial Assistant to the Office of Aboriginal Affairs and Vice Chair of the Economic Development Committee and is a member of the Private and Local Bills, Human Resources, Community Services, and Public Accounts Committees.
