Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage Becky Kent NDP
Becky Kent was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage in a by-election on October 4, 2007 and was re-elected in 2009 .
Becky worked for Nova Scotia Power and later owned and operated a pre-school in Eastern Passage and began her political career as an HRM Councillor. She represented Woodside and Eastern Passage from October 2004 to October 2007.
She is a Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly and she is Vice Chair of the Human Resources Committee. She is a member of the Internal Affairs and Law Amendments Committees. She is also a member of the House of Assembly Management Commission.
